Calcium Stone
A stone in the kidney (or lower down in the urinary tract). Also called a kidney stone. Renal stones are a common cause of blood in the urine and pain in the abdomen, flank, or groin.
SYMPTOMS
- Blood in the urine (red, pink, or brown urine)
- Vomiting.
- Nausea.
- Discolored or foul-smelling urine.
- Chills.
- Fever.
- Frequent need to urinate.
- Urinating small amounts of urine.
CAUSES
Calcium phosphate stones are caused by the combination of high urine calcium and alkaline urine, meaning the urine has a high ph.
